Creative Workhops

At Six Principles Art Lab, we believe that a strong bond between the community and family is what forges the basis for quality, well-rounded experiences in daily life. We offer community educational workshops and programs in Kelowna, South Okanagan Valley, Vancouver Island and Metro Vancouver throughout the year. All programs are open to adults, youth and children who want to experience art and creative wellness opportunities. Workshops and programs are held for one or more days, depending on availability. In-Person and Virtual Classes meet once bi-weekly over a period of six to twelve weeks, or monthly year-round. We emphasize on learn new creative skills and techniques in small groups.

Our facilitator, Maggie, is strongly influenced by constructivist philosophy and has a passion for supporting community wellness. She uses art to foster connections. She promotes art as a therapeutic practice for managing personal well-being. Her educational approach is rooted in Reggio Emilia's Approach, Design Thinking, Experimental Learning, Forest Bathing and Expressive Art therapy practice.
